Meet Joanne. A T1D for 31 years, recently completed my 21-Day Transformation Program 1-on-1, and I can’t tell you how proud I am of her commitment and dedication to her health. When I met Joanne, she was frustrated with living in constant fear of going low while working, obsessively checking her CGM, and never having predictable numbers. Meet Marc. A T1D for 24 years, recently completed my 21-Day Transformation 1on1 coaching program. When I first met Marc, he told me that he has always had decent control of his numbers, but he was having difficulty getting fat off of his midsection. He regularly used his Peloton bike and enjoyed going to the gym, but he wasn’t seeing the results that he hoped for. His total daily bolus amount was nearly double his basal and he was constantly working to ride the roller coaster throughout the day – boy did we ever change that! Within the first few days of the program, we cut his total bolus amounts in half and fine-tuned his basal so that he was easily achieving a time in target range of 90% or higher. In fact, he was over 90% in range 15 days out of 21, AND over 80% in range 20 out of 21 days (day 1 was 71%). Meet Nikhil. A FORMER Type 2 who has recently completed my 21-Day Transformation Program 1-on-1. When I first met Nikhil, he had told me that he had been diagnosed with Type 2 insulin resistance at the age of 16, and was taking Metformin, Januvia, and Glipizide daily to control his numbers. He was very concerned about his future health and was worried that he may never get his numbers under control without medication. Nikhil had already done some tremendous work on his own and had lowered his weight 25 lbs. in the previous year, but he still wasn’t seeing the blood sugar results that he wanted. On our consultation call, Nikhil told me that he was experiencing “information overload” and was having difficulty sticking to one protocol. He is Vegan and wanted a “proven method to free up his mind” and a “realistic lifestyle” that could easily become routine – and boy did we ever! Within the first three days of working together, Nikhil's blood glucose numbers were trending so low that his doctor advised him to stop taking all three medications. Over our time together, we were able to lower his average fasting glucose WITHOUT medications from 143 (7.9) to 110 (6.1). We tested multiple exercise routines and calorie/macronutrient protocols until we found the perfect combination to reduce his resistance. Nikhil discovered that there are many factors that affect resistance, not just carbs and sugar. We also lowered his weight by 3.4 lbs. to a healthy 155 lbs. and trimmed up 6.4 inches. Meet Stacie. This tiny but mighty non-diabetic superstar completed my 21-Day Transformation Program and got some amazing results! When I first met Stacie, she told me that “she was frustrated that no matter what she did she couldn't lose any inches or weight”. Meet Christine. My first client from Ireland and the ONLY client to date that has brought me to literal tears of joy. Meet Max. This newly diagnosed T1D recently completed my 21-Day Transformation program and is now fully in control of his nutrition and numbers! I first learned about Max from his mother Gail, who was up late worrying about her son and googling to find someone who could help him. She stumbled upon my website at 4:30 am and read that I had been diagnosed at 29 years old. Max was 28. After reading more about my client's results and seeing their reviews she felt that I was the right person for the job. Meet Jon. This non-diabetic plant-based Muay Thai fighter recently completed my 21-Day Transformation program and continued working with me 1on1 for an additional two weeks leading up to his recent fight. Meet Rachel. This Ironman triathlete recently completed my 21-Day Transformation program and just competed in her 7th Ironman race! Meet Roman. This 21-year-old 6’6” T1D offensive tackle recently completed my 21-Day Transformation program and achieved some MONSTER results. Roman’s superstar mom Rebecca reached out to me in January in hopes that I could help Roman to gain muscle, and speed, and have better glucose control. When I first met Roman, I knew instantly that he was a champion. He was laser-focused on his goals to get bigger and faster for football so that he could be drafted for Division 1. He’d been playing football his entire life and it was clear that he was extremely coachable. Roman had been diagnosed 4 years ago at the age of 17 and had no intentions of letting type 1 stand in the way of his success. We got right down to business and realized that he wasn’t getting nearly enough basal for his needs. We quickly improved his time in range from 0% to 90%+, where he remained for the entirety of our work together. We reduced his daily bolus insulin requirements from 100+ units a day to an average of 16 units per day and got down to work growing some serious muscle. After the 21-Day program had been completed, Roman decided to continue working with me for an additional 4 weeks to achieve even more success. After 8 weeks, Roman had gained 31 lbs. and 16.75 inches, all the while keeping his stomach measurement at 43 inches. He grew 3.5 inches around his chest, 2.5 inches on his quads, and a whopping 2.75 inches on his biceps!
